Rapides Foundation subsidiary CMAP to provide group cessation services in Central Louisiana

"We are really excited to have a partner in Central Louisiana that is willing to promote the Smoking Cessation Trust program and to begin providing group smoking cessation counseling!", said Mike Rogers, CEOof the Smoking Cessation Trust's management company.  Rapides Foundation's subsidiary company, CMAP, is starting work with the help of SCT Management Services, L3C now to put the program together that will reach cigarette smokers in the nine parishes serviced by the Foundation in Central Louisiana.  The actual date for the first group counseling session has yet to be determined, but CMAP's staff and management are currently being trained on the features of the Trust program and will begin almost immediately communicating Smoking Cessation Trust information and processes for enrollment with physicians that currently participate in the CMAP program.
