With the recent execution of an agreement with LSU's Health Sciences Center School of Public Health, there are now 26 different locations across Louisiana that offer group counseling to Scott Class Members! If you want to maximize your chances of success in quitting your cigarette habit/addiction, research suggests that the best way to do so is to join a group cessation counseling program AND regularly take the cessation medication recommended for you by your physician. This combination will improve the effectiveness of your quit attempt by as much as 51% over medication alone.
