Great American Smoke-out on 'The 411' WGNO New Orleans

The 411 hosted by Anne Cutler, is aired every Sunday morning is a weekly half-hour public affairs show on WGNO-TV in New Orleans. The three-segment news information program contains current topics of community interest and current newsmaker segments. The show highlights community leaders, non-profit organizations and current news events that serve the community. This past Sunday, one of the three high-lighted programs was the Smoking Cessation Trust. Mike Rogers, CEO of SCT Management Services, discussed the Great American Smoke-out and role of the Smoking Cessation Trust in smoking cessation in Louisiana. Our program will be available to help Louisianians quit smoking cigarettes for the 9 years remaining in our court supervised cessation program that resulted from a court decision in Scott vs. American Tobacco which funded a ten-year cessation program for Louisiana residents who began smoking cigarettes prior to September 1, 1988.
